Stari dizajn identiteta Dana hrvatskog filma počivao je na vizualu filmske trake – pomalo anakronistično, budući da na festival već nekoliko godina filmovi pristižu gotovo isključivo u digitalnom obliku. Redizajn se referira na tu, ali i na činjenicu da je događanje te godine promijenilo upravu, zamijenivši ključne ljude mlađim kadrom. Filmska je traka tako zamijenjena poznatim kontrolama digitalnih video playera, koji je na različite načine proveden kroz tiskane materijale, web i projekcije.

The old identity of the festival was based on the image of a film roll – we found this a bit anachronistic since almost all the films shown in the last few years of the festival were received in a digital format. Our design refers to this fact, but also to the fact that this years editorial board was refreshed with new young people and new ideas. Instead of the old film roll we used archetypal controls of a digital video player in different ways throughout the different media, print, web and video projections.
